Y’all. This intimate Glacier Park elopement had me absolutely weak in the knees. Between the pastel wildflowers, the lakeside tears, the freaking MOUNTAINS, and the most elegant little backyard celebration you ever did see, Alex & Colin’s day was magic from beginning to end. They came all the way from Minnesota for this, and I swear Montana showed UP for them! Think dreamy dockside first look, private vows in Glacier, and a champagne tower under the trees. Ummmm, excuse me while I sob into my lens!
Getting Ready for the Day
The energy that morning was soft, calm, and so full of love. You could feel how deeply everyone cared about making this moment special for Alex & Colin. The house was buzzing with light laughter and sweet details, I’m talking delicate pastel blooms, vintage glassware, and all the little touches that made their day feel personal but never overdone. Like the perfect Pinterest board, but IRL and with more heart.
First Look on Whitefish Lake
OH MY HEART. The first look happened on the dock at Whitefish Lake and I’m not being dramatic when I say it felt cinematic. The water was still, the sun was blazing (seriously y’all, it was a hot one), and Colin’s face when he turned around?? Literal tears. Just the two of them in this moment of pure joy, surrounded by water and sky and love. It was so grounding and so full of gratitude.
Private Vows in Glacier National Park
After their first look, we headed into Glacier for the most breathtaking private vow exchange. There’s something sacred about pulling away from the crowd, away from the noise, and just being in the mountains with your person. They stood surrounded by trees and sky, speaking promises only meant for each other. It was quiet. Peaceful. Intimate. And the scenery?? HELLO GLACIER, you show-off!
Bridal Portraits That Belong in a Fairytale
Ummmm excuse me while I cry behind the camera?? These portraits were straight-up cinematic. After their first look, we headed into Glacier and WOW, nothing compares to those wide open views and the quiet stillness of the park. Alex & Colin looked like they were meant to exist in that space. Her soft, flowy gown and his classic suit popped perfectly against the rugged mountain backdrop, and every time they looked at each other, it was like the whole world paused. We wandered through tall grass, took our time soaking up the golden light, and let the beauty of Glacier totally wrap around them. It wasn’t rushed, it wasn’t posed, just honest, romantic moments between two people who really freaking love each other!
Ceremony in the Backyard During Their Intimate Glacier Park Elopement Day
We made our way back to the backyard, and y’all, it was effortlessly beautiful. About 40 guests gathered in this cozy space filled with wildflower arrangements, vintage touches, and the softest color palette. The sun was still shining strong (did I mention it was HOT?), but everyone was glowing. Their ceremony was full of personal touches, happy tears, and the kind of love that makes your chest ache in the best way!
Elegant Backyard Reception Vibes in Glacier Park
After the “I do’s,” it was time to PARTY, and it was giving elevated garden soirée. The backyard was transformed into a reception that felt both relaxed and romantic. Alex & Colin cut their cake, popped champagne, and had the cutest little champagne tower moment that gave me LIFE. Their first dance under the open sky? Ugh. So dreamy. And the dancing?? Absolute joy. Everyone let loose, and it felt like one big cozy lovefest.
