Cloey & Brody’s Whitefish Mountain Resort maternity session felt like one of those quiet, cozy moments you don’t want to rush. They came in from North Dakota for a ski trip, and while Brody hit the slopes, Cloey got to stay warm and relax, which honestly made for the perfect vibe for maternity photos. The cabin overlooked the snow-covered mountains, and the whole space just felt calm, intimate, and really special for such a big season of life!

Cozy Indoor Moments During This Whitefish Mountain Resort Maternity Session
We spent most of our time inside, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The natural light coming through those big windows, the warmth of the cabin, and just the overall quiet feel of the space made everything feel really intentional. Cloey looked so beautiful and completely at ease, and Brody was so gentle and present with her, you can already tell how excited they are to become parents. They kept things simple, which I always love. Barefoot on the couch, soft moments by the windows, just being together without overthinking anything. It made the whole session feel really natural and true to them, which is always the goal.

A Few Moments Out in the Snow
We stepped outside for a bit to take advantage of the winter scenery, and it was definitely worth it. The snow, the trees, and the mountain views created such a peaceful backdrop. It added a completely different feel to the session, a little more open, a little more cinematic, but still very relaxed. There’s something about maternity photos in the snow that feels extra meaningful.
Everything slows down, and it becomes less about posing and more about just being present together. It felt really quiet and intentional, which matched them perfectly. If you’re planning your own session, I always recommend scheduling maternity photos around 34 weeks. At that point, your bump is nice and visible, but you’re still comfortable enough to move around and enjoy the experience. It makes a big difference in how the session feels overall!
