Adventure Elopement at Logan Pass | Alissa & Eli’s Glacier National Park Vow Adventure

There are so many ways to make your wedding day your own, and Alissa & Eli are proof of that. Even though they were already officially married before their trip. They knew they wanted an adventure elopement at Logan Pass to celebrate their vows in a place that felt just as big and meaningful as their story. Instead of worrying about traditions or timelines, they spent the day exploring some of Glacier National Park’s most incredible landscapes, sharing private vows, wandering through wildflower meadows, and ending the evening with champagne, cake, and one very determined deer. It was peaceful, intentional, and exactly the kind of day that reminds you your wedding doesn’t have to look traditional to be unforgettable!

Starting Their Adventure Elopement at Logan Pass with a Private First Look

We met at the Logan Pass Visitor Center for Alissa & Eli’s first look. And it was the perfect way to ease into the day. Seeing each other surrounded by mountain peaks instead of inside a venue made the moment feel even more meaningful. After a few quiet moments together, I took them to one of my favorite hidden spots, a little honey hole tucked away from the crowds where they could exchange private vows without anyone else around. It was quiet, peaceful, and exactly the kind of setting that lets you be fully present with each other.

From there, we spent the afternoon wandering around Logan Pass with no real rush. That’s one of my favorite parts about photographing adventure elopements. We could stop anytime the light looked beautiful, take in the views, and enjoy all the little surprises along the way. We even spotted a few mountain goats while exploring, and the combination of the alpine scenery, wildflowers, and their western-inspired style made every stop feel better than the last.

Champagne, Cake & the Most Unexpected Wedding Guest at Big Bend

We wrapped up their adventure elopement at Logan Pass at the iconic Big Bend overlook, and it could not have been a better ending. The mountains were glowing in the evening light, wildflowers covered the hillsides, and Alissa & Eli celebrated with champagne and cake while soaking in the views. It felt relaxed, unhurried, and like they had all the time in the world to simply enjoy being together.

Then came the unexpected guest. A massive buck wandered into the background of their portraits, happily photobombed a few photos, and after they popped the champagne, decided it was his turn to celebrate by licking it right off the ground. It was one of those completely unplanned moments that makes an adventure wedding so memorable. Between the wildlife, the incredible scenery, and how genuinely peaceful these two were all day long, it was the perfect reminder that some of the best wedding memories are the ones you never could have planned.
